International Masonry Institute

International Masonry Institute

Built on an undeveloped 11-acre site, the new training center for the International Masonry Institute features two buildings totaling 114,000 square feet. The larger building serves as a two level training center and features a large open area where masonry students will have the resources and space they need to hone their skills. The second, smaller building is a dormitory with 48 rooms, a large dining area with a kitchen, and a beautiful stone patio overlooking a heavily forested area. The training center also features a swing stage, office space, classrooms, conference rooms, a media center, and two large material storage areas.

The training center campus, completed in 2008, is a LEED® registered project. The campus features water efficient landscaping, superior ventilation, and an efficient and thoughtfully designed electrical system.
