National Gateway Potomac Yards

National Gateway Potomac Yards

This fast-paced tenant fit out included multiple stories of an existing nine story office tower. VarcoMac installed panelboards, transformers, feeders spanning multiple floors, branch circuits, and a fire alarm system. The finished space includes kitchens, secure server rooms with redundant power supplies, high-end office furnishings, conference rooms, and more.

VarcoMac received a 2016 Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award for Lighting Systems on this project. The finished spaces feature many types of light fixtures and applications, from exposed ceiling fixtures requiring careful attention to conduit installation and routing, fabric panel ceilings, wood ceilings, and metal panel ceilings. Fixture types ranged from pendant style to linear up-lights and cove lighting.
