ACC-4 Data Center

ACC-4 Data Center

Covering an area of over 17 acres and providing more than 36 megawatts of critical power, ACC-4 is hailed as one of the most technologically advanced data centers in the world. VarcoMac built out many of the leased computer rooms within the building, which involved installing power feeder cables from the Power Distribution Units (PDUs) to the Remote Power Panels (RPPs) in each room, as well as installing thousands of under floor power cables to provide critical power for each piece of end user equipment. In addition, VarcoMac also installed air sealing equipment in raised floor tiles to maintain cooling efficiency. In many rooms, VarcoMac helped design and installed an overhead power grid system which provided power for computer equipment in lieu of under floor cables.
